The Long Island Hispanic Bar Association (LIHBA) is an organization dedicated to promoting and fostering the advancement of Hispanic attorneys and the Hispanic Community on Long Island, New York. To that end, the LIHBA conducts free educational seminars for the Hispanic community to inform them about their rights and available resources. The LIHBA works with other advocacy groups to discuss and develop strategies to address some of the systemic problems encountered on Long Island. The LIHBA also maintains a referral hotline, 1-877-SI-LIHBA (745-4422), for individuals with legal questions or seeking legal representation.

For its attorney members, the LIHBA conducts free seminars to educate and update them on pertinent legal topics; hosts networking events; provides information regarding job openings; and maintains a blog for members to share and exchange ideas and information.  Membership in the LIHBA also includes membership in the Hispanic National Bar Association.  The Hispanic National Bar Association is a "national membership organization that represents the interests of the more than 100,000 Hispanic attorneys, judges, law professors, legal assistants, and law students in the United States and its territories."  To learn more about the benefits of becoming a member of the LIHBA please e-mail us at lihbaboard@gmail.com or call us at 1-877-SI-LIHBA (745-4422).  Together we can make a difference for our communities and the legal profession.
